Rebensburg completes comeback from injury to win in Soelden

The opening race of the 2017 - 2018 World Cup season started off with the commentators curse as high wind meant that the start needed to be lowered. At the FIS Alpine Forum, FIS had mentioned the fact it was the men’s races that had been affected most last year and here was the women’s race being affected. The race did go ahead from the top of the ridge and after two runs, Viktoria Rebensburg took the win from third after the first run with Tessa Worley and Manuela Moelgg joining her on the podium.
