Nicole Ritchie used her status as one of the rising talents in British snow racing to showcase her improvements from the last winter in winning the opening round of the Ambition GBR Indoor Series in Manchester. Fastest on both runs, the Glasgow Ski Racing athlete gave the rest of the field in the girls race a lesson and note of what will be required this season in the Indoor series. Amanda Alldridge took second overall with Shannon Potter taking third.
