After the FIS racers had left the stage, it was time for the Children's races to take centre stage in Champery. With a lot of new racers making their snow debuts, this really emphasises the importance of these races on the snow calendar for new racers. North Wales Ski club under the guidance of Jayne Wainwright with ex-British Team racer Roger Hughes and other luminaries of British racing from yesteryear, brought out a number of racers that had caught the racing bug at Plas Y Brenin.
