The venue may have been changed from Zagreb to Santa Caterina but this did not stop Dave Ryding from following up his excellent performance in Val d'Isere (12th) and his 24th in Madonna di Campiglio with a 13th place in Santa Caterina. Marcel Hirscher won the race, his 17th Slalom win to move third on the all time winners list, but for British ski racing fans, this was a lot more exciting! Henrik Kristoffersen took second and first run leader, Alexandre Khoroshilov took third.
