Norwegians fastest in opening training

Lotte Sejersted continued the Norwegian role of honour in being fastest down the first training run in Lake Louise yet disappeared from the finish before many could talk to her. The first training run was all about Lindsey Vonn who posted the 18th fastest time. With the course being a little changed from the men, a slightly lower start, and a few gates different from previous races, this was all about getting accustomed to the course and little to be read into the times. Tina Maze posted the second fastest and Mirjam Puchner (from bib 33) learning from her brothers problems in the Men's training run posted the third fastest. ...
