To celebrate The Snow Centre's official launch of the 2013-14 winter season, visit over the weekend of 14 and 15 September between 10am - 4pm for Rusty Refresher lessons, Freestyle Coaching, Simply Sledging for a Fiver, Half Price Beginner Lessons, and the thrills of Arctic Alley.  And to mark the start of the winter, ... there will also be the chance to rub shoulders with British Ski Cross racer Ed Drake as part of the first ever Slide2Sochi roadshow.
Rusty Refresher For A Fiver (Ski Only)
The NEW Rusty Refresher Lessons will get those ski legs back in no time! During the winter season The Snow Centre will offer one hour Rusty Refreshers including 45 minutes guided practice with a highly qualified ski instructor followed by 15 minutes of detailed feedback. Rusty Refresher sessions are available for adults for just a FIVER for 30 minutes over the Winter Launch Weekend ONLY (usually £39 for one hour over weekends throughout the winter season. Book a Lesson or Lift Pass after a Rusty Refresher Session during the Winter Launch Weekend and The Snow Centre will discount either by £5.

Freestyle Coaching For Just £5
The perfect chance to sample Freestyle tricks - for just £5 from Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th September get involved in tailored "Ready For Freestyle Coaching Sessions". Learn to throw some basic freestyle moves on skis or a snowboard to develop and practice at The Snow Centre's Thursday and Friday Coaching Clinics or Park Sessions throughout the Winter Season*.
*A minimum Level 6 Snowsports standard applies.

Arctic Alley & Simply Sledging from £5
Throughout the Winter Launch Weekend put those nerves to the test and speed down the 2013 ARCTIC ALLEY run on a brand new Ringo! Hold on tight through the tunnel and over bumps, twists and turns down the full length of the training slope - £10 for a one hour session.
Or Simply Sledge more sedately down the Trainer slope on a choice of zipfy's and sledges for just £5.
Slide2Sochi roadshow
With less than six months until the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, the Slide2Sochi roadshow will give visitors the chance to learn more about our medal hopefuls, meet British Ski Cross star Ed Drake, and learn how they can become the next British skiing or snowboarding star. There will also be the chance to get involved with Snowsport England's new campaign GO SKI GO BOARD* which offers value for money courses to get people into and back into snowsports.
