Atle Kostelic has set many courses on the World Cup but in Kitzbuehel it seems he stepped off the line that was required by the Jury. Having set the course, the jury then met and decided that the course was too fast at the top and after discussions the jury spoke with the link coaches and the Italian coach reset the first run for the race on Sunday. Kostelic has been notorious with his course settings and many of the coaches felt coming out of the meeting that this may have been Kostelic's last course setting.
The Croatian team protested at the method of how the situation was dealt with but the decision stands and the Italian coach, Jacques Theollier, whose son races for France, set the course.
