Since 2000, Neil McQuoid, Editor of Racer Ready has covered the World Cup not only for Racer Ready but also a host of other media outlets.  At the majority of races Neil has been the sole written journalist from Britain.  With many outlets relying on the wire services, coverage can be at best bland and bleak if any coverage is given at all.  It is expensive to have a journalist "on site" and as a result, Alternative Sports Media offer a freelance service at the World Cup and other races.
