Another Crystal globe for Maria Riesch.

A solid 6th place in the last Super-G race of the season won by Switzerland’s Fabienne Sutter allowed Maria Riesch to clinch the specialty World Cup title ahead of Austria’s Elisabeth Goergl and get her second Crystal globe within a week.

 

Last Sunday, the 23-year-old Bavarian from Garmisch-Partenkirchen captured the Super-combined title at Crans-Montana where she finished 2nd behind Sweden’s Anja Paerson.
