Back Protector & Action Shorts

Forcefield TPro Body Armour

During the 2007 summer racing season I have been using the Forcefield TPro Body Armour products during both training and racing. This includes the Back Protector & Action Shorts.

 

Having used other similar products in the past, the Forcefield range is by far the lightest and best fitting that I have tried. The back protector and shorts fit easily under the normal clothing worn.

 

On first looking at the flexible triangular mesh material on the back protector you could easily think "How will that provide enough protection?", but the padded foam backing coupled with this mesh provide great impact resistance and distribute the force very well.

 

Happily I have only tested this out in earnest once so far, but the confidence given by wearing it certainly encourages you to push a little harder.
