Jo Ryding and Antony Heaversedge won the final Club National linked with a Grand Prix of the season. Ryding was the only female to go under 13 seconds and although Shanna Prince ran her close on the final run, Ryding raised her game to take the victory. In the men's race, Heaversedge was run very close by Richard Coupe despite Coupe setting a tremendous time on the final run, he had too much to do to catch Heaversedge. Rachel Adcock and Andy Roose took third in the girls and guys races respectively. With four Seniors in the top ten male racers, older racers are staying on racing and this can only be good for the sport. If Snowsport governing bodies in England and Wales can persuade interested parties to stick with the Dendix then the commercial realities can still see all parties happy. No racing and the sport will die a slow painful death! More girls / ladies need to be encouraged to continue racing however! The age groups saw victory for Charlotte Jesse in Children 1 ahead of Jordan Williamson and Shannon Taylor. Dan Evans took an impressive 20th overall in winning the Children 1 boys group ahead of Max Wheatman and fast improving Tom McLaughlin. Hannah Knowles took victory in the Children 2 group ahead of Kirsty Hatcher and Heidi Parker. Michael Thelwell won the boys race ahead of Gerard Flahive and Taylor Waters. Junior 1 saw Lauren Cadman, Hannah Parker and Abby Clifford as the one two three. Andy Roose's third place overall also saw him win the Junior 1 boys race ahead of Jai Geyer and Lloyd Papantoniou. The first three in the overall were also the first three in the Junior 2 girls age group with Ryding winning, Prince second and Adcock third. Heaversedge won the men's race ahead of Dan Wyatt and Andrew Crawford. In the senior age group, Lindsey Allen won ahead of Lucy Newman and Holly Cutler. Richard Coupe won the men's race ahead of Craig Ruddick and David Hatcher just beating his twin brother. Cathy Beck won the Women's Masters age group ahead of Sarah Campbell Woodward and Janet Earnshaw Hamilton. Carl Ryding matched his daughter in taking the age group ahead of Rob Hales and Paul Bunton. The minis race was won by Alexandra Bullock ahead of Nia Jenkins and Victoria Lynn Orrell in the girls race. Michael Knowles held out to win the boys race ahead of Ashley Breese and James Gibb.
