Chemmy Alcott's race in St Moritz will show that she crashed out but the lesson of her crashing out needs to be learned: While the Austrian and American teams had up to 16 coaches down the length of the course, Chemmy had to do with just one coach. Large teams need large numbers of couches yet a team of just one racer still has the same length course to negotiate.  Chemmy was down heartened to have crashed out but is strong enough to move from this.  Chemmy told Racer Ready that crashing out was the result of not having more of a course report before  she left the start.  1 coach is not enough on technical courses and is the reason that the Men's team link up with the Americans and Australians.  Chemmy was pleased with her skiing and was tenth quickest in the technical section
