British Freestyle Team Member Emily Sarsfield, (22, Durham) has qualified for the final of the World Cup Skier Cross in 15th place which is currently taking place in Les Contamines, France. Emily said, “it was pretty extreme, probably the hardest skiing mental and physical test I’ve had”. The course was extremely technical with many jumps, berms and gaps and two women were hospitalised during training. Emily is currently seeking potential sponsors for her assault on the podium. The Ski Cross Final will be held tomorrow. |
