United for strength. Salomon goes into its 2nd year in the Amer Race Platform realising synergies and offering the best equipment to its athletes.

The most successful Racing teams of the past decade, Atomic and Salomon, collaborate to bring their athletes to Gold! Now for 2 years united within the Amer Sports group, Salomon is now realising the synergies coming from this close cooperation in Racing which is based on economic and technological advances. This cooperation will be reinforced in order to share knowledge and enhance innovation and technologies. This new, strong performance industrial platform will be the base for both teams Atomic and Salomon to work together on all the details that make the difference by providing athletes with the best products and service:

-Gliding and performance tests worldwide: we will make more tests than anybody on the circuit.

-Reactive and individualized boot fitting: Salomon athletes will benefit from the best boot knowledge

-Wide variety of skis and interfaces: Our constructions and systems will be tailored to our athlete’s needs and snow conditions

Since Alpine Racing is embedded in the genes of Salomon we will keep our own brand identity by showcasing the Racing world with our own spirit and specificities. We are looking forward to seeing Hannes REICHELT (Crystal Globe 07/08 in SG) Romed BAUMANN, Veronika ZUZULOVA (WC overall N°3 in SL), Akira SASAKI and Beat FEUZ reinforcing our established Team around Klaus Kröll, Alexander Koll, Emily Brydon, Francois Bourques, Giorgio Rocca, David Simoncelli, Alberto Schiapatti, Ingrid Jacquemod and David Poisson to fight for the podium in Val D’Isère. Salomon regrets not to continue anymore with Anja Paerson and Marie Marchand Arvier who quit the Salomon Racing Family.
