Ski Club of Great Britain offers a snowsports travel insurance
policy with no excess
A wide range of wintersports activities covered including off piste
without a guide
The Ski Club of Great Britain has re-launched its travel insurance
tailored to skiers and snowboarders
to include a policy with
no excess. The Ski Club insurance can be taken out at
Standard, Super and Executive levels*, and Executive policy-holders
now pay no excess on any claim.
All policies offered by the Ski Club (skiclubinsurance.co.uk)
cover on and off piste skiing and snowboarding (with or without a
guide), snow parks, cross country skiing, ski touring,
recreational racing, snow shoeing, dog sledding, ice skating,
curling and tobogganing. At Executive level, the policy also covers
heli-skiing, cat-skiing and snowmobiling. Very few insurance
policies cover such a wide range of wintersports.
“We pride ourselves on offering travel
insurance that meets all the needs of skiers and snowboarders” said
Caroline Stuart-Taylor, Chief Executive of the Ski Club of Great
Britain. “But as well as covering key wintersports, our insurance
also covers summer holidays and a range
of other activities – from mountain biking to dinghy sailing.”
As well as offering single trip cover, Ski Club insurance also
offers annual multi-trip premiums. All policies are 5% cheaper when
booked online.
The Ski Club offers the following tips about travel insurance:
1)
Check
that the policy covers any activities you're planning.
2)
If
you think you will ski or snowboard off piste, check this is
covered.
3)
Check the maximum age on the policy.
4)
Check the excess on the policy.
5)
Consider annual multi-trip insurance if you make several trips a
year – you could save time and money.
