English Championships in Bormio move into hi tec world

2010 sees the English Alpine Championships return to the popular resort of Bormio in Italy. While the seeds of discontent at paying vastly inflated prices for things in Meribel, the reasonable prices in Bormio are a welcome sight! Despite the resort hosting the event for the third year, Snowsport England has taken the initiative to create a website specifically for the Championships.

The idea behind the site came from the experience of the new Chair of ASC (Alpine Ski Committee) Andrea Grant. “I had the misfortune of one of my children being injured in Meribel and no one knowing where the hospital or medical facilities were,” explained Grant.  The new site will be loaded with useful information to make the stay in the resort much more beneficial. It will also have all the race information!
