Hermann Maier not with the Atomic Racing Team anymore

Hermann Maier will not be part of the Atomic Racing Team anymore in season 2007/08. We regret Hermann’s decision for which financial reasons were the crucial factors at the end. Atomic has made him a highest possible offer to further compete on our brand and our products.

The winter sports industry faces a very difficult market environment which makes radical savings in all areas indispensable. For this reason we could not meet Hermann’s financial perceptions.

Hermann Maier and Atomic have written a common outrageous success story. We have won all important titles in alpine skiing together – this was only possible by the perfect co-operation between Hermann Maier and Atomic.

Atomic had its most successful season ever with 41 World Cup victories (58% of the possible victories and 93 podium places) in 2006/07 and will also start with the strongest team of all ski brands in the next season.
