The Final stop of the Men's World Cup Tour is Kvitfjell, Norway.  After Benni Raich's 160 point haul at the technical weekend in Kranjska Gora last weekend, Miller will be looking to recapture his form and gain more advantage over the Austrian.

In the Downhill Globe, Michael Walchhofer can capture his first World Cup Title if he finishes ahead of Miller!

The race for the final spots at the end of season World Cup Finals will be hotly contested.  Currently sitting in the all important 25th spot is Patrik Jaerbyn of Sweden.  The 35 year old holds a couple of points advantage over Andi Schifferer and a twenty point advantage over Britain's Finlay Mickel.  Mickel knows what he has to do and nothing less than a top 13 place will be enough.  Ideally he knows that he has to be in the top 10.  With an eleventh in the World Championships, Finlay knows that he can mix it with the big boys yet with a full world cup field, this will be a tall order for Mickel.

Three days of training took place and in the Final training run Mickel put in a fantastic run that saw him in the top 10 through all the splits.  Bruno Kernen may have won the final run, going some way to putting the demons that have been affecting him recently to rest, but Mickel was mixing it with the big boys and taking the fight to Jaerbyn and Schifferer.  In the last split Mickel gambled with slowing down so that he could go early on the run.  The breaks went on too hard and Mickel found himself out of the top 30 starters, finishing the run in 35th spot.  This would mean that he would start according to his FIS points and that was in 41st spot, not the ideal position but it would be all or nothing for the race.
