Spotted at the Kitzbuehel races were three of the top young female racers from Britain.  While not a lot is heard of the young racers Lynn Sharp (British Team) and Scottish Team racers  Mel Piper and Pam Thorburn, gave Racer Ready a brief insight as to how their season has been going.  Lynn has been mixing it up with girls who have 25 FIS points but sadly for her only in races that are not benefiting from low penalties.  Come the races that make low penalties, Sharp knows that she can beat these racers and this this is giving her great confidence.  With a two day break in the racing and training programme, Sharp was keen to give Finlay support along with the two others.

For Thorburn and Piper, both are trying to secure spots to make the British team for the World Junior Championships in Canada later this season.  Thorburn is making waves on the speed programme and has been scoring in the 50's and 60's in Super G as well as in the technical events.
