Cortina d'Ampezza

Chemmy starts a huge weekend for her with a great first training run.  In the resort that brought her a fantastic nineth place in the downhill last year, Chemmy placed 21st on the first training run.  Starting at 2, Chemmy looks to be getting over her early start number problems.  Following her great result in Santa Catarina last week, Chemmy is starting to get some great form coming to the World Championships.

Chemmy's run saw her finish ahead of notable stars of the World Cup Caroline Lalive and Anja Paerson, just 1.77 seconds out on the training run winner Alex Meissnitzer.  Austrians took the first three places with Dorfmeister and Goetschl following compatriot Meissnitzer home!  Last weeks winner in Santa Catarina, Ingrid Jacquemod continued her rich vein of form with fourth.

Racer Ready will be at Cortina this week to follow the progress of Chemmy...
