Riesch takes Super Combined from Mancuso and Paerson
The Super Combined has a habit of throwing you a curve ball just
when you do not expect it. 35 racers took to the start and with
three of the first seven crashing out in the downhill, 31 took to
the slalom. The setting was almost picture perfect for the dream
result. For Maria Riesch this was the dream result, for Julia
Mancuso and Anja Paerson, this was almost as good as it can get as
they took the Gold through to bronze.
